SML Strasser Marigaux. Standard model. Serial # 11xxx. Original silver plate 99%. Manufactured around 1954, this is the time the best vintage saxes have been made, like the Selmer mark VI. This sax for it’s age is in best mechanic condition (tight action, no play on the rods, no clickering) and has a powerful, round sound. No dents visible. A bow dent has been repaired professionnally. I have disassembled the sax to clean and lubricate it. It is ready to play, but the right hand action needs a slight adjustment. This sax has been played in a marching band for 50 years and has been taken care of very well. This is a great chance to get a great sounding, semi-professional instrument at low cost and save the money for a complete overhaul later on.
